Mountain Biking

Mountain biking in Nepal is an excellent way to explore villages of Nepal. A mountain bike is an awesome friend that helps us escape the chaos and take us to the countryside. In Nepal, it is considered the best alternative to hiking.

Nepal offers cycling with two different levels of difficulty. One is short and easy, and the other long and hard. Upper Mustang and Annapurna Circuit routes are quite tough and arduous. Riding in Kathmandu rim is short and easy. Our rides give the experience of climbing thousands of meters to get fresh cool air and also eye-catching viewpoints. Riding up and down, rocky trail and also snowy paths makes the biking experience more fun.

Upper Mustang is a Himalayan desert of Nepal as it is dry, barren land. Biking in Upper Mustang not only provides geographical thrill but also exposure to mixed Gurung, Thakali, and Tibetan culture. The mixed taste of diverse culture is a cherry on top.

Biking in Annapurna Circuit is through up and down the hiking trail. Bikers need to carry their bicycles en route of Thorong La pass from Phedi to next Phedi. Going downhill will be easier on the lungs but can be technical on some parts. Visit Muktinath, the temple that stands for Nirvana and consists of 108 waterspouts. It is believed that the sins of people will be cleared if they take a bath in those waterspouts. We then explore Jomsom and Kagbeni, mountain towns of Nepal, and ride down to Beni Bazaar along the banks of Kali Gandaki River. It is also the ending point of the biking.

Riding on Kathmandu’s rim is the best way to experience life. Here we will get different views in each village. The geographical status and lifestyle in the regions are different from that of Kathmandu. We visit Newari village through offbeat trail. The route goes along farmlands and also to the Shivapuri National park. It reaches hilltops like Nagarkot and Dhulikhel. Explore nature and majestic culture and tradition from the comfort of your bike!
