Why Visit Pokhara?
Unlike Kathmandu, Pokhara is slow, clean, and wide open. You get close-up views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South and Dhaulagiri without trekking for days. It is the only city in Nepal where you can do paragliding, boating, caving, and Himalayan sunrise in one day.

Pokhara is Developing as the Nomadic Travel Hub
For years, Pokhara was known only as the Annapurna trekking hub. Now it is becoming Nepal’s first true Nomadic Travel Hub. Why remote workers and long-term travelers are choosing Pokhara:
- Fast internet and co-working cafes: Lakeside and Baidam now have fiber internet, dedicated co-working spaces like Pokhara Co-Work, Urban Yard and Coffee House, with backup power.
- Affordable long stay: Monthly apartments in Lakeside, Pame and Sarangkot cost 60% less than in Kathmandu, with mountain views.
- Work-life balance: Morning work, afternoon paragliding over Phewa Lake, or a short hike to World Peace Pagoda.
- Growing nomad community: Weekly meetups, yoga studios, sound healing, organic cafes, and easy visa extensions make it ideal for digital nomads.
- Gateway to slow adventure: Base yourself in Pokhara and do Mardi Himal, Poon Hill, or Annapurna Base Camp on weekends.
At Broad Adventure, we now offer nomad packages: long-stay hotel, co-working pass, weekend treks, and permit handling.
